Everyone has a unique contribution to make.

In an era of widespread labour shortages, it’s essential to acknowledge everyone’s valuable contributions, including those of individuals with mental health challenges. Our diverse adapted employment programs and workshops aid in integrating individuals into the job market, fostering skill development, work ethic, self-confidence, and independence.

Here are a few examples of adapted job opportunities currently offered by CADRE

Mail delivery and
selective collection

In collaboration with a healthcare institution, this role provides an opportunity to play a part in the efficient operation of a large facility by routing communications to their addressees and helping to maintain a clean and sustainable working environment.

Food security and housekeeping

CADRE’s food security programs and services depend on individuals working in roles tailored to their abilities and interests. These people help prepare meals and food baskets, manage food stocks, and provide housekeeping services. Such relevant work experiences help keep our community clean.

Manual assembly and laundry tasks

Our rue Cordner workshop trains support workers to perform a range of manual tasks, such as preparing meal trays and folding table linen.
