More than 30 years dedicated
to fostering a united community

CADRE has grown tremendously from its humble beginnings. Over time, people and organizations of all kinds have joined our team to offer our community a growing number of essential services. There’s still plenty to be done to build a just and welcoming society, but by working together, we know we’re on the right track.

“No one can lift a mountain alone. But by sharing the load, what was impossible becomes possible.”

—Roy Bhimpaul, Executive Director

Their presence inspires us all to contribute our talents and skills. Whether through leadership, governance, operations, or volunteering, we strive to strengthen the ties that bring us together and make us more resilient.

Our impact

Our innovative social economy model allows us to reach those in need with creative and adaptable solutions, supplementing existing public services. This way, we help create collective wealth and build a healthier, happier, and more inclusive community in Montreal Southwest and beyond.

Partnering with CADRE ensures our collaborators receive efficient, reliable services that support their operations and contribute to the community’s well-being. At the same time, they support CADRE’s employment, education, and social service endeavours.

We help people in the community have enough to eat. Live in a clean and orderly home. Access the healthcare services they need. Enjoy good company. Support each other and grow their network. Acquire work experience on an accessible scale. Put their talent to good use.

This is our way of fostering a healthy living environment and infusing life with purpose.
